My last semester of college was crazy- I had no idea what the next step in my life was going to be. Most importantly, I was fearful that I’d eventually grow distant from the experiences of the first three years of college. I didn’t know what to do.
On one late night spent in contemplation, I decided to print out some of my best pictures from 2012-2015 and organize them in a photobook. Also, I wanted to somehow incorporate my journal.
I printed the pictures, but life got in the way. A good friend helped me organize everything before moving to Jordan and made this comment:
“Look at this unfinished project. You have a lot of unfinished projects Zaid. You should try to finish what you set out to do.”
I think about my friend’s comment frequently. The unfinished projects have unfortunately only increased in number since then.
