Remember: life is fleeting.
It’s very short and in many ways lacks permanence. One day it’ll all pass. We’ll all pass. Exert your energy on what matters. Our homes, countries, possessions will all one day be gone. We don’t get to step in the same river twice. We were all once infants running around in our diapers and will, if Allah grants us that stage, be part of the elderly. Life is sensitive. Very delicate.
Zoom out and be very quick to detach yourself from all the petty.
